Celebrity Makeup: Lea Michele
My favorite free makeup sample I have received this month would probably be the cream blush on from one of my favorite makeup brands. Though I haven’t used it yet, I was looking for the perfect look to create where I can really put it into good use. I was browsing on makeup looks recently since I will be going to a formal event next week and I’ve found the loveliest makeup I want to create where I can use my cream blush makeup sample.
Here is Lea Michele, looking dazzling at the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation 17th Annual Taste for a Cure Gala. She is sporting a really sophisticated makeup look with a subtle smokey eye, peachy-beige nude lips and a soft peach shade cream blush that highlighted her natural glow.
This look is perfect for any black tie or formal events, and it is also simple and easy to achieve using just the basic makeup products you already probably have. To get this look, start with a clean and fresh face before continuing on with your foundation and concealer routine. When you already have a well groomed and shaped eyebrows, apply an eyeshadow primer all over your lids and swipe a vanilla colored shadow to act as a base before you apply a taupe shadow across your crease for definition. To have that subtle smokey effect, use a dark shade of brown instead of black. Apply on the outer corner of your eyes blending inwards halfway to your crease. Line your eyes with a black eye pencil and smudge it with a q- tip for softer edges. Curl your eyelashes and apply 2-3 coats of mascara, you can also use faux lashes for a fuller look. Using a cream blush, you can apply using your fingers or a sponge so you can be able to blend it well on the apples of your cheeks. Finish the entire look with a nude lipstick that will perfectly go well with the subtle smokey eye.
