It may not be summer yet, but anyone in some countries go to the beach anytime. Anyone can have Summer in an instant. If you live in a country where it’s still winter and you don’t want to waste your time stuck inside the house in layers of clothing. Travelling to a tropical country can be your best option. Now, that you have packed your bags with summer essential clothes and swim suit the next thing to keep in mind is ‘what makeup to wear?’ Well, just because you’re going to the beach or going swimming doesn’t mean you need to ditch your daily makeup routine. There’s nothing wrong with wearing makeup, especially when you’re travelling. Of course you want to look amazing on your photos, right?
The most important product you must not forget is your waterproof sunscreen. Apply an even amount to your face and let it settle into your skin before going on with your makeup. Remember that in creating a beach makeup look, everything has to be natural. So skip the cakey foundation, apply a tinted moisturizer on your face, or even a sheer foundation if you prefer. You can also apply concealer on areas you want covered. Curl your lashes for for brighter looking eyes and apply just one coat of waterproof mascara to avoid that heavy look. Skip the eyeliner, as it can easily melt under the sun and just swipe a vanilla or light colored eyeshadow on your eyelids. Choose natural colors for your blush like pinks, peaches or bronze. Apply the shade that will work best on your skin tone on the apples of your cheeks. If you want you can also skip the blush and just use a lip and cheek tint which can also give a natural finish (Lip and cheek tint are often given out as free makeup samples which comes in small tubes, great for travelling). Also, don’t forget to apply a moisturizing lip balm with SPF to avoid dry and chapping lips.
